Tuskegee Native, Tuskegee University Engineering Alumni, and Resident of Arkansas, Dr. Michele Wise Wright, Ph.D., President and Board Chair of the Milton Pitts Crenchaw Aviation Training Academy (MPCATA), was joined by her esteemed Board of Directors and Special Guests on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, for what would have been the 102nd birthday of the Late Documented Original Tuskegee Airman and the Father of Black Aviation in Arkansas, Dr. Milton Pitts Crenchaw, to celebrate the private unveiling of the Dr. Milton Pitts Crenchaw Aviation Career Technical Wing at the Little Rock Southwest High School (Principal Marvin Burton).

Dr. Wright shared, “I am all the more appreciative to have been an integral member of the architect team who helped to design this phenomenal masterpiece and timely tribute to Dr. Milton Crenchaw! And special kudos to the Crenchaw children, Dolores Crenchaw Singleton, Countess Crenchaw, Erwin Crenchaw, and (the late Milton Crenchaw, Jr.) for so selflessly, kindly, and lovingly sharing their dad with MPCATA and the entire world.”
